To increase the physical security of the dock, there is space for a Kensington lock.

The docking station supports MST, which means you can mirror or extend up to two external monitors. The MST feature is for Windows. For Mac, only mirroring is supported.
The HDMI and DP ports are backward compatible with 4K60Hz, 2K60Hz, 1080p, 1080i and 720P. The USB-A and USB-C 3.1 ports support data transfer speeds up to 5Gbps and the USB-C port for charging supports Power Delivery 3.0 up to 100W.
The USB-A ports support charging according to BC1.2 up to 7.5W per port.
The docking station is Plug and Play and no drivers are required. The dock does not require an external power supply.

System requirements:
- If the USB-C port on your PC or Mac does not support Displayport Alt Mode or Video over USB-C, video and other transmission will not be available.
- For 8K resolutions to work, the display on which 8K is to be displayed needs to support 8K. The HDMI cable between the docking station and your monitor must be HDMI2.1
- For MST to be possible, the displays to be connected need to support MST and the computer needs to have the Windows operating system.
- For Power Delivery 100W to be possible, the USB-C port on your computer needs to support PD3.0 or later.
