NÖRDIC DisplayLink Docking Station converts a USB-C, Thunderbolt or/and USB-A port in your computer into 12 ports: 2xDP/HDMI 4k60hz 1xHDMI 4k30hz 1xUSB-A 3.2 10Gbps 2xUSB-A 3.1 5Gbps 1xUSB-C 3.2 10Gbps 1xUSB-C 3.1 5Gbps 1xRJ45 and 1x3.5mm Audio. To increase the physical security of the dock, there is space for a Kensington lock.
It is possible to connect up to three external monitors in total. Two via either DisplayPort or HDMI up to 4k60hz and one via HDMI up to 4k30hz. The docking station supports MST and this means that you can mirror or extend up to three external monitors. The MST function applies to both Windows and Mac including Mac M1 and M2.
The HDMI and DP ports are backward compatible with 4K 30Hz, 1080p, 1080i and 720P. The USB 3.2 ports can handle data transfer up to 10Gbps and support BC 1.2 and can therefore provide up to 5V 1.5A. The USB-C 3.2 port also supports power delivery up to 60W. The USB 3.1 ports can handle data transfer up to 5Gbps and power supply up to 5V 0.9A
The docking station can be connected to the computer via both USB-C and USB-A thanks to the Displaylink chipset in it. The docking station is powered by the included power adapter. The docking station with DisplayLink chipset supports USB-A ports USB3.1, USB3.0. and USB2.0.
System requirements:
- For video output 1 and 2, Displaylink drivers are required. For HDMI 3, the USB-C port on your computer must support Displayport alt mode 1.2 or 1.4.
- For power delivery up to 60W, the USB-C port on your computer needs to support Power delivery 3.0.
