- To ensure all features work, PC or Mac requires either a Thunderbolt 3 connector or USB-C with support for both DisplayPort Alt Mode and Power Delivery.
- If USB-C on PC or Mac does not support Power Delivery but does support Displayport Alt Mode, video and USB-A will still work without problems, but the Power Delivery feature will not be available.
- If the USB-C on the PC or Mac does not support Displayport Alt Mode but does support Power Delivery, the Power Delivery feature will work without problems, but then video and other transmission will not be available.
- For 8K resolutions to work, the display on which 8K is to be displayed needs to support 8K.
- PC/Macbook/Smartphone/Tablet/smartphone needs to have Windows, macOS, Linux or Android.
