NÖRDIC 1 to 12 Docking Station converts a USB-C or Thunderbolt port in your computer into 12 ports including 2xHDMI 4K 30Hz, 1xVGA 1080p 60Hz, 1x USB-C Power Delivery 100W, 1xUSB-C 3.1, 1x USB A 3.0 5Gbps, 2x USB-A 2.0 1xRJ45 LAN, 1x Audio 3.5mm and 2xSD/Micro SD card reader. The dock supports up to three external monitors (four including the computer screen). If you connect three monitors, the resolution on all external monitors will be a maximum of 1080p 60Hz. If you connect two monitors, one to HDMI and one to VGA, the resolution will be a maximum of 1080p 60Hz. If you connect two monitors to both HDMI ports, the resolution will be a maximum of 4K30Hz.
The docking station supports MST, which means you can mirror or extend up to three external monitors. Extended only applies to Windows and can only be extended to monitors connected via HDMI. For more details on monitor connections in Mac and Windows, please read the manual.
The HDMI ports are backward compatible with 2K60Hz, 1080p, 1080i and 720P. The VGA port is also backward compatible. The USB-A 3.1 ports support data transfer speeds up to 5Gbps and the USB-C port supports Power Delivery up to 100W. The docking station is Plug and Play and no drivers are required. The dock does not require an external power supply.
